The room was clean and staff was friendly, my room did need a little maintenance the cover for the shower drain was not attached and the a/c filters needed cleaned

At 9 P.M. the toilet quit working. I called the front desk who informed me that maintenance did not return until 9 am and they were sold out of rooms. I had to take the lid off the toilet and add water from the ice- bucket to make it work the remainer of my stay. The hotel did not offer a discount or any type of reimbursement for my trouble. The hotel clerk DID NOT CARE! Management never called to apologize or anything. I called the hotel and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I then called corporate who said they could not give me a refund or discount only management could, but that they would have management call me in 24 hours. One week later no call. Management does not care about their guest obviously. Never have I stayed at a hotel with such horrible customer service.

After reading the Google reviews of this property I was genuinely afraid it was not going to be a good stay. The reality for us though was that for the price this was the little hotel that delivered. Really a two star hotel with four star reviews! Great attention to detail and all the big hotel amenities without the big hotel price. Our room had no bugs, no smell, and our car was not broken into. Only downers were the breakfast and the chair in the room was old, dirty, and uncomfortable. Also the room door was not a very tight seal though and noise from other rooms could be an issue. Marijuana smell in the hallways too but that is not the fault of the hotel.
