We had a 4 day stay last week. Bedroom 2 was very spacious with en suite. Breakfast delicious his scrambled egg was so tasty. Pascal was an excellent host and very informative on places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Parking a little tight but as there was only us and another guest it was fine.

Our stay at Cawthorne was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were also excellent and it was lovely to be fussed over by Pascal who went out of his way to make sure that everything was to our taste. Pascal is a very accomplished cook and an experienced hotelier - it showed! Thank you for a great stay in your lovely home.

Fabulous place run by a fabulous family. Breakfast was amazing as was Pasqual's sour dough bread. Is very clean and comfortable with lovely extras like a welcome drink with homemade canapè plus home made cookies in the room. A Great 2 nights away in Yorkshire

We just had 2 nights but it was lovely Pascal was a great host from the minute we arrived with a glass of sparkling wine and canapes was a nice touch. The breakfast was amazing freshly cooked to order. The room was spacious clean and comfortable would definitely stay again when in the area.

Well located and very comfortable accommodation with private parking. Conveniently situated for York city, North Yorks Moors Railway and the coast. Friendly informal atmosphere. A very pleasant stay

The stay was very enjoyable the room was comfortable and the breakfast very good. the house is very close to the town centre and the key bus stops to Whitby, Scarborough and York. and only a few minutes work to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam railway's main station in Pickering.
