The staff was pleasant and helpful. There was a nice view of the ocean. I would describe the room as a fixer upper. We stayed with 2 queen beds, only one had a nightstand and a bedside light. The bathroom was small and tight. All the onsite restaurants are closed and much of the building for sale. At >$200/night, it is a poor value for the price.

Shilo Inn - a bit dated, but still a gem!

The Shilo Inn is a gem on the Oregon Coast with an amazing view! Hotel is a bit dated, but everything works and our room was extremely clean. There was even covered parking and an elevator to help transport luggage from the car on the rainy day we were there.

Great choice if you want walking distance to beach. Room was clean and welcoming. Staff were very kind and had great customer service skills. I do think the building hallways need upgraded on windows and carpet.
