The hotel itself is pitiful looking until you get to the room. The rooms have been updated, but nothing else. There was not a microwave or fridge in the room yet either. This caused issues for us as this is their standard and it was not maintained. Breakfast was a joke and they acted like they were ready to put it up early. This stay confirmed I am done with La Quinta as their standards have plummeted since Covid.

Parking was fine, lot was full of cigarette butts, rooms were clean, bed were ok. Bathroom needed the floor mopped, (hair) Painting tape was still around wall edges. Breakfast was minimal; no fruit. No yogurt. Some bread, no pastries. Not a lot of choice other than waffles. Staff was quiet but friendly. Cooking smells from rooms on second floor were over powering.

P00l was closed carpet dirty. Same cigarette butts were on the stairs.The whole time I was there. I stayed 46 days.They did not clean my room at all even though the front desk had all they would be there tomorrow. Dog droppings in the parking lot you had to watch where you stepped. I had to ask daly for coffee in my room.No coffee in the morning until six am and then it was cold. Every evening I had workers at the end of the hall, drinking beer and smoking blowing it out the window. No more La Quinta for me

The hallways smell like ethnic food. It’s so potent that it’s offensive. I understand construction is being done but there’s no notices posted so that visitors don’t think the property is Just dilapidated. The doors slam shut automatically and it’s LOUD. just an overall poor experience. I saw roaches in the hall and near elevator. Disgusting

I don’t understand the recent Good ratings. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. La Quinta is gonna have to do much better if they want my business again. The place is located on the slums. The hotel looks like it has not been vacuumed for cleaned in a decade. The room was bare bone and again looks like it has not been cleaned. Paint cracks on the walls, the bathroom looked gross. No microwave no fridge. You know how you would rather take a leak out in the woods rather than use a ports potti? That’s how this bathroom looked. The parking lot is 1/2 full of junk. Chairs mattresses etc. Do not book a room here unless you have no other options. I’m gonna write Mr La Quinta and tell him my mind. Note I arrived 9-9:30 pm after a long day of driving. If I had arrived late afternoon I would have looked for another hotel.

The hotel did not feel very safe as the area had gone down hill. Our vehicle was also broken into overnight and was told there was no surveillance in the parking lot that was captured. La Quinta has seriously gone down hill compared to what I was use to.
