Gym had very high tech treadmills (x3), peloton, free weights and KB’s up to 40lbs, 2x benches, tv, stretching and yoga equipment. I recently stayed at Tiller House in Laguna Hills for my birthday weekend. By far the best stay I’ve had at a hotel in Laguna. The rooms were clean and had modern yet classy decor. They offered complimentary water, slippers and playing cards which was a sweet touch. The things that stood out the most were the food at breakfast and the staff. I had the best avocado toast ever there and our waiter was so incredibly kind. We had a minor plumbing issue our first day and maintenance was there within 5 minutes. Everyone was very sweet to my young daughter and even gave her compliments on her manners. Definitely a proud mom moment. Laguna is a place I always go to to relax and decompress from my hectic job. Tiller House is located in a business area and conveniently near the freeway. After our great experience and warm welcome from staff, I will always stay at Tiller House when coming to Laguna.

Third time staying and really like hotel. Friendly staff and very accommodating. But five days after checkout I received a charge from hotel for 30 dollars. Odd, why am I getting a charge? I called the hotel and asked why I was charged 30 dollars an hour ago to my card. After being on hold for quite some time I was informed it was for parking. Now I have already stayed here 2 other times and was never charged parking also why would you charge me 5 days later? When I asked I was told I was comped the last two stays. I explained when checking in I was never told there was a fee for parking, it’s more a principle thing at this point l, if I were told there was a charge checking in and charged at checkout fine. Buyt five days later? And no real explanation why, that I have an issue with. Not even it’s a new policy we apologize, nothing. I live close by and this was my go to place if I need to stay for a night or two but now not so sure. Not a good look or business practice.
