1 Niight Stay

My daughter and I were there for one night and enjoyed our stay. We loved that the checkout was at 11am and were able to keep our luggage for storage for 3 pounds per bag. The staff was nice and the bed was comfortable.

Ovo arena visit

3 night stay to attend a concert at the Ovo arena. Great location for this, arena was within a 10-15 min walking distance. Great location also for the city centre and restaurants. Hotel was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful with info about the area. The room was basic, clean, bright and recently decorated. The bed was clean and reasonably comfy.

Nice hostel but noisy guests

Stayed before and the location off Sauciehall street in Glasgow is great Only downside is guests using mobile phones in dorms who shout when you try to sleep
Joanne Alice, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Probably won’t stay again, sorry!

More pillows would have been good, hand towel in bathroom would have been welcome, couldn’t get normal channels on tv, carpets ripped and worn, walls were dirty, bathroom very tired and water damaged. Wasn’t worth what we paid for one night, have stayed in much better for much cheaper in the same area with cooked breakfast. Bed was comfy and staff were very nice.

A short trip.

It is more of a hostel than a hotel. Rooms are shared with double decker bunks. That safe it provides safw clean accommodation in the heart of Glasgow. Glasgow Central Station and Sauchiehall Street are both within walking distance. 4 nights cost £152.

2/10 Poor

Worst place ive ever stayed

Firstly its advertised as a hotel, its not its a hostel. The rooms were filthy, covered in feaces, the windows didnt lock, there mould all over the bathroom, there was vomit stains on the floors, there was a huge hole in the roof, i could go on but im sure you get the drift. We ended up leaving after 2 hours as we were worried for the safety of our children, would not recommend this place to anyone, needs to be closed down.

Comfy and clean

Friendly staff, had no problem over the 3 nights I stayed over. Funny enough it was the same place my friend stayed a few months back. Room clean, easy access. I booked a double room with private bathroom. Would recommend. Shops nearby if needed, bus stop within walking distance.

Thank goodness I was able to book a room for my whole family with a private bathroom

8/10 Very good

Its in a great location. Rooms are spacious & staff was helpful and friendly. Its a hostel, so you get it. But one of the nicer ones weve stayed at.
Brian, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Walkable distance from city centre and train station. Bathroom is clean. Good value for a short stay but there are almost no facilities.
Patrick, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It was what it was.

It was what it was. The room had comfortable double bunk beds for all 6 of us and there was an en suite bath. The place itself was a little shabby, looked like there was some damage in the hallway and the rug in our room was threadbare in places. It had a moist vibe. The common areas were meh. But it was our first night in Scotland and we pretty much just slept there, didn't get breakfast. Had a good recommendation for dinner from front desk: The Butterfly and the Pig.

great location! i was able to walk to the ovo hydro without a problem, and same with kelvingrove art museum. i stayed in the basement level, which was quite cold particularly in the bathrooms since there wasn’t any central heating (at least in my room).

They have the most helpful staff here. We had all kinds of issues booking and all errors were quickly resolved by the staff. Yes it is a bare bones hostel but could not have been better for our stay.
Cindy, 2-night trip

Good location, Very basic surroundings

Budget hostel, in good location. Very cheap and cheerful. Rooms were very basic, but clean. Stayed with family (3 kids), it worked as a place to lay your head. A little noisy at night, plenty of students staying there etc. Overall satisfactory but nothing you'll be writing home about

Terribly managed experience

Following the reservation of two rooms via Hotels.com, payment was not processed at the time of booking, a departure from standard practice. Subsequently, emails were received that appeared to be fraudulent, requesting payment via a provided link. Upon contacting the hotel, payment was successfully processed. However, approximately six days prior to the scheduled arrival, notification was received that one room was unavailable due to maintenance. The alternative accommodation offered was a shared dormitory, which was less than ideal. Given the proximity to an event at the OVO Hydro and the inflated prices of alternative private rooms, the shared dormitory was accepted, despite the lack of provided amenities..
