Historic building with modern amenities fit in

A little out of the way from the main attractions in town, but that keeps things quiet. The staff are professional yet pleasant enough. The breakfast matches the independent hotel vibes. The room is simple, and snug, but gets the job done. The bathroom (especially the shower) is small, but again is fine for a couple nights.

Helt okej vistelse i Bergens äldsta hotell

Helt okej vistelse men hotellet är mer ’nedgånget’ än det syns på bilderna. Mycket trevlig personal vid incheckning. Blev dock varse om att det är Bergens äldsta hotell vilket var spännande. Rummet var mindre och inte alls lika fint som förväntat, bilderna är väldigt förskönade. Otroligt varmt, ingen A/C men en bordsfläkt stod på skrivbordet när vi kom. ’Stadsutsikten’ som utlovats bestod av två vita, smutsiga fasadväggar. Sängarna var sköna men inte fantastiska. Frukosten var helt okej, både varma och kalla alternativ.

Good hotel in short walking distance to harbor area and restaurants. Single room was extra small in comparison to other hotels I stayed in Norway. I asked to extend my stay because of bad weather but because of VERY dynamic pricing I decided against it, the price almost doubled in comparison to original booking I made two days prior.
