Great staff. Great location. Rooms are being re-modelled. But those that are open are in v good shape. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Shopping right across the street with a great Lazy Acres, laundromat, Serranos ... a terrific and inexpensive Mexican restaurant (huge portions). Price is right for Encinitas.

They where in the middle of renovating the stairs where broken pieces missing this was a safety hazard. They did not have the amenities it said on the hotel details. I dont recommend this place at all.

The property is being redone and looks much better . The water pressure is amazing ! That said if you care about your money don’t stay here . They took my deposit . Saw it come out of my account as I showed the very rude desk girl immediately ( she claimed they didn’t get it but gave us the room anyway ) . As of 2 weeks later according to my bank the hotel still hasn’t released my deposit of $125.00 . And extremely rude when I ask about it

Very disappointing stay. A sprinkler in the room was already damaged when I checked in. After I checked out, the manager charged my card $75 for the sprinkler damage that was clearly already there. When I called to dispute it, the manager wouldn’t resolve the issue. The hotel was also under construction with loud noise early in the morning and the room had dirty sheets and no do-not-disturb sign in addition to the sprinkler incident. Thankfully corporate was more understanding, but with so many other places to stay in the area, I’d recommend choosing somewhere else.
