I stayed at the Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead from 22nd to 25th March and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean, and the bed was especially comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm and friendly welcome that set the tone for the stay. A special mention goes to Gavin, who was behind the bar on Sunday and Monday evening. He provided efficient, friendly service and made the bar feel welcoming and relaxed. I’d also like to mention Derek, who greeted me at breakfast – a genuinely nice bloke and a great way to start the day. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service from the staff. I’d happily stay here again

Parking: okay but almost got double charged by Reception Team. Breakfast: okay but no hot chocolate as 'run out', areas where food should be were empty (including fried eggs, and yoghurt in big bowl) and had to ask for pastries whilst bread was topped up and only 3 or 4 slices had been used from what was on view, priorities therefore needs to be reviewed ! Menu does not reflect what is actually on offer (e.g. potato slices on menu but actually were hash browns). Waiter very helpful. Breakfast was not that busy so hotel can't complain there was a rush of guests ! Hot food was generally presentable and well cooked.

Had a fantastic stay here with my 2 grandchildren. Kids eat free which i thought was fantastic. We used Lynxx taxis to travel from station to hotel and from hotel to warner bros studio and back they were excellent. Set fare and were by us in minutes, highly recommend. The staff were friendly, caring and polite all through the hotel. The room was spot on. The pool was lovely, it was warm and not to crowded. I thought the facilities were spotless. The meals in the restaurant were really good and not over priced. I will definitely use this hotel again if coming to London. Area lovely and there is an m&s food next door for water or milk if needed. Hotel in general was spotless and well maintained.
