We had a fantastic 4-night stay at this hotel. We would highly recommend this location and will come back again if we travel to Kyoto in the future. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a mix of traditional and modern design. The bed was comfortable, and all the small amenities such as slippers and robes were high quality. The staff was very friendly and made the whole process seamless. The location of the hotel is great since it's in a quiet area but only one stop away from Kyoto station. Great hotel. No complains at all, wish I stayed longer. They had free wine, beer and snack. Rooms are big, very spacious (compared to others I stayed at in Japan) The breakfast buffet it was ok (not my preferred food for breakfast) but convenient. The little cafe in the lobby has great sandwiches. Everyone is so nice, but I found that everyone in Japan is. Beautiful country!
