Location of this hotel was the best part. Our ocean view room on the 3rd floor was spectacular. We sat out on our little balcony enjoying a drink and watching the world go by on our tMalecón many times.

Room is very clean. No coffee pot which sucks because none of the coffee places is open till 7 AM.. the beds could use an upgrade and be softer however, the cost was effective so you just pick your battles. This is the best location in town. Make absolute certain you get an ocean view room. Mexico is loud. With a very convenient location comes a lot of noise. People love blaring their car stereos all hours of the night. Make certain that you bring ear plugs. Wonderful view of the ocean from your room and a beach directly across the street. The hotel won't loan you beach towels for the beach. You will need to bring your own.

Extremely noisy in the summer with Malecón auto and pedestrian traffic, water temperature is warm ~85 degrees, crowds settle down after October. Winter is great time to visit, however sea water is a bit cooler. Bed was great, if you like a firm mattress, internet, ok, not great! Access relatively easy to many parts of the city. Great experience at Hotel Siesta!

Great location. Great view from your room. Definitely get the ocean front room. Place is very basic, but has a friendly staff and possibly the best location in town. Accept that Mexico has music blasting vehicles at all hours of the night. Bring earplugs and have a great experience.

The location and the staff are the best things about this hotel. There are few amenities and the hotel is older for sure. No ice machine. Stairs only. Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the oceanfront balcony. Bring ear plugs to sleep.

This is a great place to stay in Mazatlan. It is close to everything. It is right on the beach. I loved just sitting on the balcony watching the waves. The hotel is old and is showing signs of wear. The cable TV system kept freezing making it impossible to watch. The place is basic, but it is well cared for. Absolutely bring ear plugs. It is not the hotel's fault that locals like to BLAST music when they drive and could care less if others are sleeping. It is a nice place and simply the best location.
View from your balcony.
Ocean view room.

The rooms are very nice and clean. We had a problem with our keys having to be reactivated because they would stop working at random times of the day
