I was in town to help my daughter move out of her dorm. It was too late for me to drive home when we finished. I live 5 hours away.
I pulled up Hotels.com and, within 15 minutes, I made my reservation, drove to the hotel and was registered as a guest by a very personable night auditor.
To answer your question about cleanliness, I was pleased by the condition of the room. I’m a former road warrior with many hotel stays all across the country under my belt and it became apparent during the walk to my room that this hotel had some years on it and was formerly tolerant of smoking. This is not a knock on the facility. To the contrary, I know how hard it is to get that smell out of the walls, drapes, carpets and bedding. They’ve done a good job. Also, I was VERY pleased with the condition of the bathroom. After all the years of travel, I have my own check-in routine that I perform. Y’all passed.
