It was just right. The staff was friendly. The location was perfect for State St walking, shopping, dining but it was also quiet (not close enough to noisy nightlife to cause lost sleep). I saw a few reviews mention the rooms were small and while they weren't built for say, four to hang out, we 3 had plenty of space in a two-queen room. The bathroom also had decent space. I'd absolutely stay there again.

Also irritating that they insisted on valet parking for an extra $35 a night, plus tips, when the lot is right beside the hotel and easy to get into and out of. Soundproofing of rooms was also not great, and they had added a white noise machine to compensate
