Nice room and easy check in. Though 1st day had to have staff come take dorty clothes out of dresser (smelly) and found bottle of ear something by bed. Could have been cleaner.

Lovely hotel in beautiful downtown Carlisle, PA. Friendly, helpful staff. When we checked in, our the TV in our room was not working- sound, but no picture. We alerted the front desk staff, went out for a walk and the TV had been replaced when we returned. Very good breakfast - also a restaurant in the hotel.

We enjoyed this hotel. It is located ideally in downtown Carlisle and it has a great restaurant. We ate there twice. The room was clean and well ventilated. It had a seating area that we used frequently and found it to be a nice addition. The room was also spacious. The beds were clean and comfortable but there he pillows! The pillows are the only thing we did not like. They were small and plump and we found them uncomfortable. Otherwise I would not choose another hotel in Carlisle!

Stop on a longer trip

Staff was nice. Not very pet friendly. They accept pets but you have to walk around the city looking for green space to potty. Mold in bathroom. Bathroom was tiny. Beds were comfortable and clean.

The parking was a little confusing as we needed to drive into a parking garage, wasn't expecting that. Once we entered the lobby, the parking situation was explained and there were no issues. Room was comfortable and clean. We needed to ask for more shampoo and cream rinse! Breakfast was typical continental style. However the restaurant was excellent and the chef was amazing, cooking "to order food" as I have dietary restrictions.

Love it BUT there are some problems

First of all, this is one of probably 10 stays at this facility. I love the location. I love the fact it has a bar and restaurant. This time however… Was checked into room 101, then two hours later somebody else was checked into the same room. When I couldn’t get back into my room that evening, the desk told me that I was really supposed to be in 102 although I had been in 101 for several hours. They just couldn’t seem to figure it out. Also, the bathrooms continue to have a moldy smell I’ve reported this before.

When I arrived, there was nothing one at the front desk and I and another person both had to wait a while for someone to show up to check us in. There was a sign explaining that the person working the front desk had to go help someone in a room, but it was still annoying that there was no front desk coverage. Later that day, I was walking through the lobby and noticed yet another person waiting at a vacant front desk for assistance. Other than that issue though, the hotel was lovely. Great location and very comfortable room.

Noisy customers ruined our stay

We had to call front desk multiple times about a very noisy room -people yelling from 9:30pm-3:00am. Desk staff should have monitored the room so we didn't need to keep calling to complain. Very frustrating.

Good location, older hotel

Great location, older hotel, very good restaurant on premises. Some maintenance issues like, shampoo dispenser missing, lotion dispenser torn from the wall, sink stopped did not work etc. Deep cleaning required, trash between couch and wall, cleaning of glass surfaces.
