Such a cool and unique stay! This beautifully restored old school turned hotel perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The location couldn’t be better — close to everything yet still cozy and quiet. Everything was spotless and had such a welcoming, homey feel the moment we walked in. The beds were incredibly comfortable (some of the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel!), and the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating. You can truly feel the warmth and hospitality throughout the entire place. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Wonderful atmosphere, very ornate and lots of historic information. The decor was over the top, Christmas everywhere, even a decorated tree in our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The Sherman is a very unique place with spacious rooms and lots to enjoy for a history buff. The host was very welcoming and gave a tour of the common areas. My only negative is about the breakfast time of 8:30 which by that time we were 1.5 hours into our drive and sadly missed it.

Cute little place with enormous rooms all of which are decorated in home style. This would be the perfect place if you wanted to get away to pursue some personal project in a calm environment. Very good breakfast too. You can even cook your own lunch or dinner if you want to.
