Hotel is easy walk across the river from the old town and La concha beach. The town is very pedestrian and bike friendly. Employees were friendly and helpful. Rooftop lounge area was a bonus. Rooms were good size and hotel was recently renovated so everything was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a really nice location. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. We stay in a corner room with Riverview with view obstructed by trees but I guess they are not able to trim them. Anyway we loved our stay there. Highly recommended

The Abba San Sebastian is a beautiful hotel on the Gros side of the Urumea River. Our room had a small balcony facing the river. It is perfectly located to easily walk to the Old Town area with its wonderful Pintxos (Tapas) Bars. We were also very close to the train and bus station which made taking a bus to Bilboa for the Guggenheim Museum quite easy. The hotel has a rooftop bar with great views. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Hotel Abba, Weekend in San Sebastián

Weekend visit to San Sebastián. Hotel Abba was in a great location. 5 minute walk from the bus station (useful if travelling to/from Bilbao), Also 5 minutes from Gros & the Old Town. Our room was lovely, modern & clean with a great roof top bar before heading out.. one negative, when the rooftop bar was open, the hotel bar was closed, understood this was to manage staffing levels but would be good to have the choice. Would certainly go again, good hotel, great location!

My husband and I had a marvelous time. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and went out of their way to make sure we feel welcome. The restaurant is a five stars…i wanted to taste the Chef’s lemon pie. It was not available that day. The chef had it ready for me the next day…. It was the best Lemon pie I have ever had…. Parking was not essy even though the hotel offered a discount. Room service was poor. The roll was not cleaned well. Also the sound carried. You could here the neighbors in the adjacent room very clearly.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Abba Sans. The customer service staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very easy. They held our bags as we arrived before check-in time and they upgraded us for free when we did check-in. The rooms were very clean and newly updated. The bathrooms were very spacious and the shower was luxurious. They had every amenity there in case you didn't bring it down to a toothbrush and toothpaste and a complimentary bottle of water. The room size was to be expected as most European hotels are not that spacious, but there were enough closets and I didn't feel cramped. The location is great. We walked everywhere although the bus station and metro were very close if we chose to use them. We would definitely stay there again.

Brilliant staff in a great hotel.

Great location, excellent facilities. Varied and tasty breakfast food and drinks. Encountered three different reception staff, all very friendly, efficient and helpful. Great ambassadors for the hotel. Bar manager similarly was efficient, and friendly, nothing was too much. Would recommend this hotel for its location and the great staff.
