We had a great time and would go again. The Claridge is a great place for families and we enjoy the restaurant and the pool. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the proximity to the boardwalk is unbeatable. Unfortunately, we kept missing housekeeping, and our room was only cleaned one during our stay.

The hotel has immediate charm when checking in. The staff was minimal but I was still helped in a timely fashion. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is a bit small but newly updated. Breakfast at twenties cafe was pleasant. Good view, excellent service, food was average and served lukewarm. Food at Vue was excellent, service was top notch and the drinks were worth every penny. Jerry and Manny had us come back after our first visit.

My room key stop working every time We left the room and the elevator didn’t work right it was a 20 min wait every time we used it security was rude when asked why the elevator not work he started cursing and the pool was nasty cloudy with a big dirt ring around the pool so no it was not a good time

Atlantic City is definitely not what it used to be. The hotel itself has character but that’s about it. I paid for the hotel online and was told I only owed $30 upon check in. When I checked in I had to put an additional $100 down which will take up to 10 business days after check out to be returned. On top of that the hotel charges you for parking which is $50 a day. The pool was disgusting with a view of a moldy boarded up skylight. The area the hotel is in is actually frightening and my children were terrified. If I were you I would find another town to stay in. It was overall a very disappointing trip.
