The front desk was very friendly and the checkin was quick. The room was dirty. The floor hadn’t been swept, the bathroom was dirty and the lock on the door would not close completely. Felt unsafe and won’t be back.

I like this Econolodge. It's convenient, the staff is familiar, and there are plenty of options to walk for food if you don't have a car.

The desk staff was friendly and accommodating, we had a late check-in.
The room while freshly painted had an overwhelming musty odor and the bathroom had cracks & water stains in the wall that had been painted over. The bathroom door was swollen to the point it didn't shut properly.

My Stay In Vero Beach
No frills, bed was comfortable, the sofa needed replacing. The floor had cheap laminate, the breakfast, for me, lacked, big time. At least I could get a banana and an apple.
No gym.
The staff was friendly. The price was decent, for where we were and what we were there for.
But, I'll definately look for something different.
The place needs a really good overhaul, but I doubt that will happen.

Not for families or women traveling alone
Rooms were not cleaned well. There were crumbs behind all of the beds. Ants in the rooms. Tried three rooms all poorly cleaned. Man at the front desk personally swept and mopped a room for us. The rooms smelt terrible. The breakfast was a bag pastry and coffee. The area is sketchy. The air conditioner worked well, and the bed was comfortable.

The staff could not have been more accommodating or kinder. The room was very clean and they helped me with anything that I asked them to. The trailer truck car wash across the street blue it fans directly towards my apartment from 8 AM to 8 PM. It was deafening. I am so sorry for the owners. That should never been allowed to have been done. Not only the hotel, but the people who live in the neighborhood behind suffer from that tremendous amount of noise every day

Good enough for a nights stay
Key card machine was down. Front desk clerk friendly. Room had smell upon entry. No visible bugs. Tv color contrast was low. Needed drywall patchwork in bathroom. Lots of rust on items. Bed was hard. AC was cold. Shower head was decent. Could use some upgrades. No issues with noise. Didn’t try the breakfast. Refrigerator was cool. Water was hot.

Feet were black from walking on floor of hotel room. Toilet clogged after 2 uses. Mold and hair on shower/bathroom walls. Extremely limited continental breakfast(only offered cereal, bananas that were overripe/brown, apples, bread, and muffins). Also took 40 minutes to check due hotel reservation error. Overpriced all considered. Staff were nice enough though.

We stayed there because it was close to the Heritage Center in downtown, where we attended a karate tournament (7 minutes away). The room was great. It had one of the best beds that we have ever slept on. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The $100 damage deposit was a bit of a shocker, but it is understandable in these times and was handled well by the staff. I had to use a $100 bill from my wallet stash, & they gave me back the exact same $100 bill I used, as agreed on. The breakfast could have used a little more variety, like yogurt, but it was adequate for getting going quickly. The cinnamon breakfast bar was absolutely addictive. One plus is that a Chili's Restaurant is only a few steps away. One hint: if you are leaving for the turnpike, don't take the directions that take you on U.S. 1. Go to State Road 60, then to the turnpike. The U. S, 1 route turns into a poorly maintained farm road. Another hint is that, unless you have earplugs, don't take a room near the huge generator. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and will be back again.

Just ok.
Not the best. The person who checked me in was very nice. They require a $100.00 deposit which they prefer in cash. If you want to use a card they describe a lengthy difficult process of reimbursement. The room was ok. Cigarette burns on the bedspread but it didn't smell of smoke. Shower faucet handle fell off. The breakfast was pretty lame. But the coffee was good and that’s what counts. It’s described as downtown. It’s not really but restaurants and a Publix are within walking distance.

No bells or whistles.
Fo the most part it was more than fine. And it is definitely a bare bones, kind of place to stay. The rooms are big and clean and the beds are comfortable. No coffee pot. And you have to go all the way up to the front desk if you want to purchase a soda.
Their bar is now permanently closed, which was a disappointment.
There is no security on property.
But what do you expect for a place? That's less than a $100. For me it was perfectly fine. Just no Bells and whistles at all.

The room needed a good sweep and dust. There were two live spiders and many little dead bugs. The insects probably.came in through the small gap under the door. The room looked recently renovated. Guessing the renovation is still in progress since the room still had the old light switch and outlet covers, towel rack and tissue holder. The bed was clean and comfortable. Our stay was pleasent otherwise. Staff was polite and helpful. When we checked in the attendant really suggested paying the $100 incidental deposit in cash. I informed him I never carry cash and preferred to use my card. Not sure why cash was suggested. It does take at least 7 days to get the deposit back on your card. By the way we are at day 12 and I have not seen the deposit credited back to my card.
