Cabin was great. It was very cold outside but the heater worked and made the room comfortable in about an hour. Staff was very helpful. Setting was beautiful.

Ads for the place make it look cozy. Though the natural setting is lovely, the facilities were not kept up very well. The “queen bed” was two mattresses on the floor. There were critters scratching around in the walls. Though we knew going in that there were Porta-potties, they were terribly filthy and mildewy. The property was not appealing at all.

It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever come back to the area I would stay again.

He has a nice set up. It is a camping experience for sure, I had a great time. The cabin had a nice fridge, a microwave and several beds. It's a great place to come for a couple days with some groceries and just disconnect. The river and the scenery is really nice.
There is a shower house and it is private.

Beautiful campground
Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough.
It was a camping cabin so rustic. No WiFi or cabin itself so I skied up closer to the main house to pick it up when needed.
Gorgeous and peaceful surroundings!
Will definitely return in warmer weather to check out the multiple swimming holes!

Didnt know what to expect when booking and once we arrived it was different than expect. Not necessarily in a negative way but just different. Cabin was super basic. Had electric which means it had heat, refrigerator and microwave but did not have AC. It did have a box fan which helped. The charcol grill and fire ring were nice to cook over. Very quiet and peaceful place.

Average rating for Abrams Creek cabins
The cabin itself was cozy, located deep in the mountains, beautiful view of the rolling creek behind the cabin. Very quiet environment. However, we were told by the property manager that anywhere you see a water spout, that’s good for drinking but absolutely every water station they had did NOT work. Also, the reservation details stated that the property will provide bedding and that turned out to be not true. Thank goodness, we brought our own bedding. It said the property had shared bathrooms was turned out to be a porta potty next to the cabin. The cabin did not have a ceiling, only paper insulation! Which to me increased the possible risk of a fire.

Quaint, quiet place in the mountains to tune out and recharge your batteries. Not a place for glampers and that was a huge part of the appeal to me. Hosts were very accommodating of anything asked of them.

Absolutely adorable little cabins. A bit better than expected and very clean. The general manager was a very delightful person who had all needed information about the area. He was also very polite and considerate. The property has a very unique and easily accessible creek that was very beautiful. It’s a very rural location but there’s a small fuel station with anything you could need like 3 miles up the road. We didn’t stay very long but it was a fantastic experience while we were there and we plan to visit again this summer!

Should not be on Expedia
The "lodge" should not be offered on Expedia. This is an older musty split level house. If you stay in the "Lodge" you are basically renting a room in someone's house - with them there. Weird.

We did not know there would be no linen in the cabin. You had to walk around 100 feet to get to the porta john since there was no bathroom in the cabin. I would not want to try and go to the bathroom at night in that country. I'm not sure how I missed that really important information when booking. This was a spur of the moment trip while my husband was having good days while being treated for cancer. We drove to the cabin, went in after finding the light, turned off the light and left. We found a motel in another town. I should have realized there was something off with the price.

Barn shed needs a total rehabilitation warped walls, burned faceplate on electrical. Electrical needs to be ripped out and get a licenses electrician to put new electrical wiring it currently had pieces together light cords going into electrical sockets. I can tell it wasn’t an electrician. Something running through the walls all night going nuts in the walls. One window was nailed shut unable to open. Dirty stain old mattress and box spring on the floor. Looks like furniture someone had thrown away and put into this shed. Microwave was old and rusted not safe. Black mold on the floors and lightly painted over a long time ago. Poor poor shape shed not taken care of at all. The small porta potty swarmed with hornet bees stung on arms and groin area while using the bathroom. We had to bring everything there was no linens, no kitchen supplies, no hygiene products, no water in cabin. The owners or investors need to put money and rehab these sheds with a new management team who works and does the correct repairs and licensed electrician. Trees on bolders with roots exposed and tree leaning towards the shed safety issue. Picnic tables rotted and benches. I think city inspector needs to go into these cabins and houses to do safety inspections and any codes violated. Don’t recommend this campground it’s a safety issue.
