The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were excellent and the lady there was very efficient. The room was a good size and very well equipped. You're a bit outside the main centre of Berlin but the U and S travel options make it pretty easy getting around.

Parking is 26 euro a day during workingdays in the street. There is no Aircondition. Friendly Staff, decent breakfast and very very cozy garden. Good location. Would come again without car and in cold weather.

Cosy, great value hotel

The real star of this nice, cosy 3* hotel in West Berlin is its reception staff - possibly the best I have ever encountered in any hotel in Germany! Buffet breakfast is also very good and is usually included in the room rate, making already excellent value for money even better. My room was spacious if a bit outdated. Single bed was big enough and comfortable. Bathroom design is very weird - radiator is positioned just next to toilet seat, making the use of toilet uncomfortable - never saw anything similar. Location of the hotel is fine, 5 min walk from metro (U Bahn) station and less than half an hour walk to KaDeWe department store, but surrounding area is a bit dull. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and great value for money!

Practical clean accommodation but no frills

Hotel Carolinenhof falls into that camp of being ‘fine’, there being nothing inherently wrong with it but nothing absolutely right either. The staff are friendly, the rooms are large and spotlessly clean but they’re also bare and completely lacking in any kind of soft furnishings, design or tactile finishes designed to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast is mainly continental, some pre-prepped eggs but primarily breads, hams, cheeses, spreads, fruits and cereals, with homemade items too, including cakes, so that was fine. Only basic coffee and team unless you wish to pay extra. All in all, if you manage to book at a good price, it’s a decent place to overnight. If you prefer the ‘hotel’ experience, then Premier Inn is similarly priced, similarly located and a whole lot more 2024.

Værelset m. altan var meget rummeligt, rent og pænt. Udsigt til den dejlige have, og sengen var god. Har dog aldrig boet på et hotel, hvor jeg skulle spørge om at få skiftet sengetøjet. Morgenmaden var rigtig god, med masser af hjemmelavede ting. Tæt på transport, og en rigtig god indisk restaurant lige i nærheden

Ik verbleef in kamer 502, was een nette kamer, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, iedere 2.dag is er kamer reiniging. Ontbijtbuffet is vegan en bio veel keuzes ook, koffie wordt gebracht, ideaal. Ik had een Lunchpakket aangevraagd die was er de volgende dag en op tijd. Iedere vrijdag en zaterdag huisgemaakte Taart en plaatkoek, was echt heerlijk op het terras met een koffie. Verbleef van 11 tot 14 juli 2025

Zimmer sehr groß geschnitten. Leider etwas "säuerlicher" Gestank im Zimmer (war beim letzten Aufenthalt nicht da). Warmwasser-Versorgung bedingt durch Durchlauferhitzer im Zimmer semi-gut. Ansonsten alles in Ordnung.
