This hotel has a lot of potential, but it’s completely undermined by how unwelcoming and poorly behaved the staff are. From the moment I walked in, the front desk acted visibly annoyed by my presence.
The real disaster, though, was the Wi-Fi. Because my last name and room number didn’t match in their system, I couldn’t get access at all. I called the front desk, was given a number to call, and then spent nearly two hours trying to fix something that should have taken minutes. I’m not technically challenged. At one point I said it really shouldn’t be this complicated just to get Wi-Fi, and the person on the line hung up on me. I had to start over with another operator and patiently go through the whole thing again.
After that experience, I didn’t even have the energy to think about how awful pillows were or the fact that my room was right next to the highway, which meant there wasn’t a single quiet moment.
The only saving grace was that it was just for a night and a decent breakfast. Other than that, I would not stay here again. After losing hours over something as basic as Wi-Fi, it honestly feels like I should be reimbursed for that alone.
