We stayed at the tatami room in this hotel and we are delighted by the quality-price ratio as well as the amazing service! The room is impeccable and there is actually front desk staff present at all times during the two days we were in kanazawa. Only downside is that it’s pretty far from the station (20-25 min walking especially if you are carrying luggages) and couple minutes by bus, which is still pretty convenient (during the day).

Walking distance to most attractions. We (2persons) stayed at a 3-person Japanese style room with two futon beds and a pull out couch. Room is spacious and the bathroom is impeccably clean. Note that there is no daily room service. Extra towels were provided for our 3-day stay. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a clean and comfortable place to stay without frills such as breakfast buffet, gym, swimming pool or hot spring bath. Will stay again.

The hotel is at a great location, close from the castle, Kenrokuen, and Omicho Market, and also at the midpoint of the two chaya districts in the East and the West. The room was clean and spacious. However, we were a bit disappointed that the room did not have a dining table although the pictures for the Executive Room made it seem like it had one. Also, the washing machine in our room had a "do not use" sign, so we had to use the washing machine on a different floor. It seemed a bit unfair that we were paying the same price for those rooms that had a dining table and a working laundry machine. But overall, enjoyed our stay here and the staff members were friendly.

Larger than expected room. Nice shower. JR pass holders can use bus to Minami bus stop. Just get more info at info office at Kanazawa station. At press time it was bay 4/5 for these particular buses. AC was strong. Only unique thing is check in is a code, front door is also a code from midnight till 5/6am

Minn is great. Close enough to train station to walk there or by bus. Also close to Castle and park. Highly recommend Plat home restaurant but make reservations days in advance. Chef was great. Hotel staff were eXcellent. Especially Ms Miabi who generously gave her reservation to us. So kind. Arigato Ms Miabi. Huni restaurant also great with reservation required. Easy electronic check in and check out with codes for room and late bldg entrance. Very convenient. No keys or cards required.

My wife had an accident, and I reached out to the hotel almost five days before our scheduled check-in to request either a cancellation or a change of dates. Unfortunately, they were completely inflexible and offered no options—just kept the payment. Their response was neither friendly nor supportive; it was strictly “their way or no way.” Expedia did try to assist by contacting the hotel on our behalf, but unfortunately received the same unhelpful response. As always, thank you to Expedia for doing your best to support us, even when the hotel refused to cooperate.

The Minn hotel was a nice hotel. The hotel is decently situated to walk to multiple locations around Kanazawa. It is also right on one of Kanazawa’s major bus loop. This allows you to easily hope on/off the bus if you’re tired of walking. The staff was nice, but wasn’t able to help with some basics like asking for a laundry bag or an envelope. I was constantly told to go to the local convenient store if I need something. As for the room, it was very spacious. One of the larger rooms we had throughout our trip. As mentioned before, the hotel is close to some of the local sightseeing locations, but the major issue is restaurants. There are few restaurants in the area, and we found ourselves traveling back towards the train station on a regular basis to find decent restaurants. Other then that, the hotel was nice. Overall it was a decent hotel and for the price you are getting a pretty good place to stay. The staff could be a little more helpful, but it wasn’t a major deal breaker.
