Nice size room with large bathroom

This was the largest room we stayed in during our Scandinavian trip. Very generous size and a huge bathroom with a bathtub. Nice breakfast as well. It would have been nice if it were just a few minutes closer to town, but still walkable.

El hotel muy cómo y espacioso para 3 adultos, a 5minutos caminando de las principales plazas de la ciudad y 15 del teleférico. El servicio de buffet muy variado y rico. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Scandic Bergen City. La chambre avait le mobilier qu'il fallait sauf qu'il manquait un placard avec un coffre pour les effets personnels importants. Aussi, l'état de propreté était excellent dans la chambre mais manquait de rigueur pour le réfrigérateur. Concernant l'accueil et l'hôtel en général c'était excellent, avec un gros point positif pour le petit déjeuner qui proposait un large choix.

Nice airy room. Comfortable bed. A bit noisy because of the traffic outside in the morning. A lot of buses. Most of the time the coffee machine in the annex out of order because of lack of water or coffee.

Nyt og gammelt på hver sin side af gaden

Hotellet har to bygninger, der ligger på hver sin side af gaden. Det medførte, at vi havde et værelse i hver af bygningerne. Begge værelser var pænt store og velindrettede. Den ene bygning bærer præg af at være noget ældre end den anden. Personalet tog godt imod os og vi kunne nå at få noget at spise,trods vores relativt sene ankomst. Der var en buffet med mange lækre retter inkl. desserter. Hotellet ligger ret centralt i Bergen med nogle få minutters gang til turbusser og havnen, hvor man kan se den flotteste solnedgang over fjorden.

The hotel is old and needs maintenance; the photos of the bathrooms do not correspond to reality. It needs repairs, the doors do not close properly,the closing sensor of the elevator does not work well, and the dashboard is fallen and hanging. Excellent location and good breakfast.

Värmebölja i Bergen

Mycket centralt. Reception och frukost i en byggnad och hotellrum i byggnad tvärs över gatan. I Bergen brukar det vanligen regna, vilket vi INTE hade. Solsken och över 30 grader varmt under hela vistelsen😎Inga hotell har luftkonditionering eftersom det sällan är över 25 grader och regn. Luften stod stilla på rummet. Vi hade en fin helg och upplevde Bergen en solig helg.

Déçu des équipements et service

Chambre pas ouf avec du matériel vétuste et un peu cheap. Le parking n’en ai pas un, c’est un accord avec un parking payant où vous avez -20%. La salle de sport y’a 5 équipements dans on 3 dedans c’est complet. Et il n’y a pas de « laverie » c’est un service de pressing externe qui coûte super cher. Donc hôtel pas tout à fait à la hauteur.

Disappointed

The room we are in is in a totally different building from the main lobby. As it rains almost constantly, we have to walk outside to the main building to get our breakfast. The layout of our room is not conducive to any kind of maneuvering about. There is a desk whic is way too big for the room. The lighting was totally inadequate. There was not even a box of tissues anywhere to be found. I would definitely not recommend staying here.
