Lights not working I’m my room when I arrived. Couldn’t use the leisure facilities in the night as I wanted as the restaurant only had a reservation really early or really late. My biggest complaint is that the draught lager wasn’t working so I had to pay extortionate prices for bottled beer.

Poor service in restaurant - waiter said we could not order food from the childrens’ menu as this was for u12s. We explained that my daughter was 11 and he then questioned us and then her further. This information was on our booking form. He then stood around 1M away from our table for the whole meal - all of this made our children quite uncomfortable. Some good was good (breakfast) but main meal was poor quality and tasteless, therefore poor value for money. However bar and reception staff was lovely.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and polite. Everything seemed great although Sunday night is popular in the pool with kids so less relaxing and burger in the bar was dry and overdone with a burnt bun, edible but if I was less hungry would have sent it back.

Nice big rooms, Nice reception area with pleasant staff . The spa swimming area with Sauna and Steam room is decent and the bars are nice with nice bar staff. Also visited the restaurant for dinner which was excellent with great service , good quality food and a nice setting.

The only thing is that you don’t do room service, and the bar stops serving food at 7pm on a Saturday night.. which forces us to dine in the restaurant which is far too formal for our chilled out night after a long day racing

Granthams big secret.

This is a very popular hotel that caters for more than just the golfer. Sports gym pool jacuzzi and spa are available. With a large bar and restaurant that can accommodate in the hundreds and a service of food and drink to match.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel and great breakfast. The only downside was being woken up by a member of staff sorting towel containers out, in the car park at 7am.
