Walkable from Haymarket

Not too far to walk from Haymarket station and set back off the busy main road. Entry is via a system I had not previously encountered, so took me a while to become accustomed to it. A free 'grab and go' breakfast was included. A pleasant surpirse.

Lovely room with very convenient transport links. Free breakfast items available in the morning like croissants and cereal. Didn’t see any staff members at all. It’s self check in and self check out. Lovely clean rooms, very comfy beds. Would stay again

Apart from the initial hiccup on arrival, the visit was one of the best I have spent in Edinburgh, I do visit the town regularly & I will indeed be spending time there again. Before you stand outside the house on your way to check inn: make sure you have received an email with a code for the door, code for your key and information about how to use it. All in all a good experience with the price in mind. Could definitely go back some day.

Great location but disappointing condition

Location was fantastic. Lovely building. Unfortunately there was a large leak in one of the rooms that had a bucket under it. I emailed the hotel contact on day 1 and haven’t heard back. The dripping carried on all night and kept my youngest up so not ideal. Reading other reviews it seems this room has a historic leak so suggest it needs fixing.

Roaches, uncomfortable beds, didn’t clean the room at all in the 4 nights we were there even after we placed the placard on the door to make up the room. Terrible. Overpriced and wouldn’t do that again. Only positive is that it was near public transit.
