For the price and location, it can’t be beat. I used to live in Germantown and this hotel was built in the mid to late 1980s. She’s been renovated with hardwood floors and fresh paint but those renovations are starting to show their age. The tubs and showers are showing their age. Sometimes the pool is open and sometimes not. The breakfast area is small with standard fare. The owners are price busting at this location but to do so the maintenance is starting to suffer. Fresh plants and landscaping won’t hide the fading paint. The staff is good.

I was not able to stay here because the bathroom was in terrible condition. Nothing had been cleaned, and the fixtures were not in usable condition.The enamel was chipped away and rusted over all around the tub drain. It would not have passed inspection and should not be rented out without first being repaired. Staff offered to clean it, but the hotel was full and not able to offer me an equivalent room.

Building is structurally unsoundThe upper floors are drastically sagging under their own weight. With the ceiling above cracked and sagging from the floor above. The fire alarm had no batteries. The room doors did not self close and latch. The toilet leaked. The toilet lid was held together by tape. The floors were not even swept, when cleaning water from the floor when we checked in turned the town brown from the dirt. The remote did not work. There was no hot water. When I tried to speak with the desk about it. I was told “ I am sorry, they are aware of the problems and the place needs to close down to make repairs, but they won’t.do it. It is not just unsatisfactory, it’s unsafe. The building inspector or fire marshal would close this place down if they were aware of the issues.
