6/10 Good

The room was clean but you get what you pay for. The towels were old and the bed covers were stained. One night passing through is all that was needed. i would never recommend or stay there again.

We like it here.

Third year in a row staying at this quiet place, it is near the restaurants, easy to get to the mall and other popular events. We feel safe here.

8/10 Very good

This is a very nice property for the price point. Friendly staff and more of a “family owned” environment than a “corporate chain”. That being said it had a cozy feel but not the upscale luxuries. Room was clean, hard floors. Bedding was clean. Some light dust on some surfaces. Shower floor was soft but no big deal. Good water pressure and temperature, refrigerator and microwave. Lots of tv channels. Most importantly they have daily housekeeping! Most chains don’t offer that! Parking outside your room. Keep in mind I’m rating this for a hotel in its class.

2/10 Poor

This property is very dirty. After walking on floor my socks were black, threw thew away. Coffer packs were open and empty with a used one in pot. Bath mat was stained, blanket hat cigarette burns in it. Electrical wall plates broken, ceiling pait pealing. Office was rarely open. When went to get coffee packts seemed to be a bother. NEVER AGAIN

No Frills hotel at a no frills cost

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay when I was in Concord. This hotel definitely fit the bill. It was about as "no frills" as you can get and less than $82.00/night. However when I checked in and looked at the information board, the word "LUXURY" was mentioned. This is not a luxury hotel by any means. It's just a basic room - reminded me of some of the places I stayed when I was younger with my family circa 1980s.

Smelled of smoke, burns on lines, counter and tub. Mattress gross.

10/10 Exceptional

The staff were excellent provided all extras needed quickly and efficiently. The room was very clean and I am picky. I always check the sheets, corners, fridge, bathtub etc looking for anything I feel I need to clean myself. It is a small hotel and seems to be family run. I felt safe staying there. They keep the back gate locked. It was surprising quiet for a room right off of I 85

Dont judge a book by its cover

This was a one night stay so my husband wouldnt have to drive so much to go to a UNC game. He said the room was nice, but the tv remote didnt work. He had to get another one. Other than that it was as nice as always. The convenience and price are what we like best about staying here. We always stay at the Cabarrus Inn when we are in town.

Don't let the outside turn you away.

We have stayed here quite a few times. It comes across as sketchy, but the rooms are as the pictures look. It is quiet and clean. It is very basic, but has everything you need. The manager is very nice. We actually came a day early and I had called the week before about that. When we got there (it was 10pm), they had no record of it being changed, so that was a little annoying, but it worked out fine. The young man there was confused and had to call the manager about what to do. The only thing I don't like is that after you pay, they make you pay a $25 fee that supposedly gets credited back. Why? I'm sure because of former guests. All in all, I like staying here. The room (203) wasn't as good as the others we've stayed in (211, I think). The water pressure and shower head were weak, and the bed wasn't as comfortable. Don't turn away because of the outside. You also have the Golden Corral across the hwy and a Starbucks down the street for breakfast.

Okay-ish

Okay for needing a place to stay. Be warned however... 1.It's close to train tracks so you will hear trains throughout the night. Maybe it's your ride to Hogwarts. 2. The smell...smoking is allowed and even though we were in a non-smoking room the pungent sweetish smell of possible incense of some kind and cigaretter smoke made for some rough sleep due to how sensitive i am to smells. 3. There's also limited outlets between the two beds...just 1 so we had to go buy a power strip since we forgot to bring one. 4. The bathroom light flickered in a nauseating way. We did learn that the flickering would stop of we left it on constantly for at least 15 minutes. 5. Speaking of lighting, if you are.going and have a dance competition don't count on the lighting there. I get that hotels can sometimes have poor lighting for doing makeup..especially stage make up, but this is the worst we've expereinced so far. It got me and my daughter through the nights we needed to stay, but we wont return.
