When we first checked in we were given room 104. We entered the room and I was hit with this awful smell and I noticed trash on the floor. My husband lifted the mattress to check for bugs and we saw a nasty stain on the bedskirt underneath the mattress. I decided to pull the fitted sheet back off the mattress and saw black bed bug fecal stains around all the seams. We immediately left the room. Normally I would've made reservations elsewhere at this point but it was snowing so hard the roads were hard to drive on so we changed rooms. We were moved to the third floor and the room was much cleaner. The staff was very nice the entire time, but overall the experience had me adding this hotel to our we'll never stay here again list.

Staff were very friendly. Front desk person and breakfast staff person were great. Breakfast person kept the dining area open and stocked past the 9:30 closing time because she saw that there were so many people there enjoying breakfast. 9:30 close on a weekend seemed a bit early anyway so that was nice. That being said… the hotel itself needs a major face lift! Everything is old, dated, faded, dirty, broken and or not working properly. Keep the staff and upgrade the decor and this could be a great hotel. Close to the mall and places to eat, easy to get to and plenty of parking.
