"I paid for a family suite with a king bed and was put in a tiny room with 2 queen beds and was not even offered some kind of a reimbursement, I’m very disappointed and will not be staying again. And to top it all off, they didn’t even have fitted sheets on the be. Also a cup of coffee cost $4.50, it wasn’t even good coffee….."
"I grew up in Milwaukee and moved away after college. I always dreamt of staying at the Pfister Hotel. We came for a wedding in the third ward so had the opportunity to do so. It did not disappoint. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and the front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. Room service was excellent as well as the drinks in the lobby bar. I would definitely recommend the Pfister to anyone that wants to experience downtown Milwaukee at its finest of years gone by and today."
"-outlets without the usb port seems to be a downer as it is turned into a common feature in hotel stays.
-hooks in the bathroom for towels bathing suits woulda been nice. Maybe a hook or two on the door then, a few plastic hooks in the shower by the shower head for the swim suits (since the main attraction is the water park)
-coffee stands!
Make it a whole part time job for people to go around to every building and place a coffee stand (first come first serve) and have them do rounds for refills. I’m not sure on how blue prints go for the park but there’s got to be a way to get your guests free coffee in the mornings. It’s a blessing to wake up but also you feel like family when you get free cup of coffee.
Thank you for listening"
"Obviously with everything brand new it all looked very nice. The room was nice. It was quiet. The pools were nice and warm. The downsides were there's only one elevator and its on one side of the building and if youre put all the way on the other side its quite a trek. There is a $100 per night incidentals charge and a $30 per night resort fee. My silent flabbergasted stare at the front desk clerk like he'd lost the plot when he told me that and thankfully he charged us less than the $100 per night fee. To me this is excessive. If youre staying a week or longer than a night or 2 thats a bit bogus and I really hope they reconsider that policy.
Secondly while the pools are nice the constant multiple lurking security/staff in the pool area were a bit unnerving as they truly just stare at guests the whole time. And Im sure they are to make sure adults in the bar area dont get out of control or people getting rowdy but it was definitely weird.
Lastly while it does have some kid amenities its honestly really just geared more toward adults.
A shout out to the gal and guy that stood outside greeting guests with a friendly smile and warm welcome each time you came and went though."
"Great location, nice amenities. The property is slightly outdated but the customer service was absolutely amazing! Extremely clean! Very accommodating & helpful."
