Alexis was amazing at check in! Friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the TV worked and we had hot water. However, the door lock was broken, furniture was missing. There was an open space where a couch or table and chairs should have been. The light fixture above the window was missing with just wires there. The toilet seat was loose. Unfortunately, we will not stay there again.

Nothing was unique that would be a plus. The doors were white and dirty, and ours was a non smoking room, and my partner was able to tell someone had smoked in the room. This was verified as we found cigars on the window well. I informed the front desk and they just shrugged suggesting they don't care. I would not stay there again.

Not worth the money

Check in was at 3, we got there at 3:12. Was given a room that had not been cleaned. Went back to the front desk and was given another room that was in the process of being cleaned. We had an event to be at at 4:15 and was still waiting at 4pm. The room was not cleaned still and we just had to settle for it as not to miss our event. The ceiling was peeling and the countertop was dirty. Good thing they left Clorox in the room.

I would not stay here again. The toilet almost fell over when I sat on it. It had a couple shims under the back so it quickly fell forward. My husband placed one of their wooden hangers under the front so we could use it. The shower did not have hot water until after 10 minutes of letting the water run and the toilet paper holder was broken. There were spots on the bedspread and it appeared the carpet had not been swept. We arrived late so we were too tired to leave. But, we should have.

Besides a broken bed, the front office staff seem to be fraudulently billing by double billing. I had paid via Expedia and upon check-in was asked to pay again. Spent 2 hours getting that corrected. I checked out today and now have been double billed for my dog. I was told it was $20 a night and they've charged me $40. As a fraud analyst, this indicates an issue with it happening twice in one stay. The staff doesn't seem to care about the time I have to take to push them to correct these double billings. Their corporate office really needs to take a look at this hotel as they are giving my hometown a real bad look. Besides the fraud concern, who wants you sleep on a broken bed?

I took pictures of the plumbing, door, NON WORKING phone, unstable handicap shower chair. Even though we had reservations for an accessible room, the bathroom had a regular toilet, no stopper or flow filter on faucet in sink, the ACCESSIBLE shower was a regular bathtub with hand held shower head. The shower head could not be used as a regular shower because the head holder pointed the water flow at the wall rather than on the person using the shower. The door had a gap large enough to see movement outside the room. The closest working ice machine to our ACCESSIBLE room was almost the full length of the property away. The phone didn't work AT ALL-not the best thing for a handicapped person-irregardless of not being able to call the desk or outgoing, what if there were an emergency. The free breakfast had cereal and oatmeal, but NO milk, frozen waffles, packaged boiled eggs, but no bread for toast-only bagels. When we arrived for checkin, there was no one at the desk and it took several minutes before they came, even after I called out-I could hear them talking somewhere in the back. Once I made contact with staff member, she was very helpful and accommodating. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and courteous. I would say we deserve compensation for all the problems and also add that this was probably the worst experience we have ever had at a Choice property! We do expect to hear from the manager or corporate in regards to this stay.
