The staff was wonderful. The room was equally terrible. We have stayed at this Microtel many times in the past. It was not fancy, but clean and in good repair with helpful staff. This time only 2 lights in the room worked, none in the bathroom. The mirror and headboard of the bed were damaged. The shower rod was falling down causing the partially shredded shower curtain to hang only in the middle. The morning we were leaving, the toilet clogged. The Tv did not work. We will not be staying there ever again.

Bathroom had a sour smell, evidence of mold on the ceiling in the shower and bathroom receptacle didn’t work. Bedding was clean and no evidence of any infestation. Check in staff was nice but the next morning, the desk clerk was very hateful when I asked if there were any tea bags. She proceeded to berate me, yelling and calling me a Karen for ruining the first 30 minutes of her work. Coffee, toast and cereal was all that was available on a Friday morning at 8:00 Previous stay at a Microtel in Manchester, Tn was exemplary. Tifton was extremely disappointing.

Lily at the front desk was friendly and helpful at checkin. The room and bathroom were clean and pleasant. The breakfast was very sparse with vending machines empty, the pancake maker did not work though there were syrup packets and paper plates in the garbarge, no fruit, and was out of coffee creamer after Christmas day. Person behind the desk Christmas day seemed uncaring even though it was Christmas day and everything was closed.
