Could have been better

When we checked in we were there 15 mins before early check-in was allowed. We still had to pay an extra $20 for being early...ridiculous but it's their policy. Upon getting to our room, we discovered that the yellow chair had several stains and the bathtub had visible mold along the silicone and up the tiles. We asked to either change rooms or receive a refund and we would go elsewhere. The lady at the counter did not seem to be surprised at the request and tried to accommodate a move. It took 45 mins before we could move. The new room was cleaner and we accepted it. We were offered the $20 back after i asked for a discount. No further discount was offered even though we had lost almost an hour of our time (only there a day so not much time to waste). The room itself has been updated.. was clean (with the tub exception) and well appointed except no towels for the pool... which was a major reason we chose this motel. The AC unit was very loud and given the fact it was about 4' away from the bed it was annoying. The first room we were in was much bigger and maybe wouldn't have been so noticeable. The front desk staff tried her hardest to accommodate us but it appears their hands are tied by the owner/manager which was mentioned several times. We will not return... we still weren't pleased with the state of the bathtubs cleanliness and the lack of communication beyond the front desk staff.

Perfect stop between BC and Alberta

Basic motel that is a great stopping point along Hwy 3 from BC to Alberta. Super friendly and quick Chck in. Clean room and bathroom and comfy bed!

Family Visit

Hotel is well situated on the main hwy. despite that it was actually pretty quiet for traffic and we were there for three days. Room was clean and comfortable with a small fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast was basic but still good. No Frills grocery store across the highway. And if you go when when outdoor pool is open even better! Overall, nice stay.
