We enjoyed our stay because it was close to the Amarin, Mr Whippy’s and had a pool. Beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom needed a good cleaning but we wore our “hotel flip-flops” and made do.

Let me start this by this was a great inn for the price. Our room was very clean and the linens and towels smelled great (sorta like cherries). It was not a far walk from a lot of things if you’re able to do that. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. All that being said the only negative thing I can say is it was a little dated but it gave it charm. Fully enjoyed staying her will definitely stay here again!

We stayed one night at the Maddox Inn during our visit to Chincoteague. The staff was friendly, check-in was easy, and the price was very reasonable for the area. A nice perk was the breakfast voucher for AmaRin Coffee USA next door, which included a simple coffee or tea and a pastry of your choice. Unfortunately, our room had a musty smell and felt damp throughout the stay, making it less comfortable than we expected. It worked for a quick overnight visit, but addressing the moisture issue would make for a much better guest experience.

This was definitely a 2 star motel. The staff was friendly and helpful but the 1st night we had a leaky sink drain & an awful sewage smell to deal with. When reported the next morning, we were told that this is just something that flat areas deal with after lots of rain - which had happened earlier that week. However, we later that day we returned to find the company pumping out their septic tanks. All was noticeably better the 2nd night! Breakfast was included & was a fantastic pastry & coffee from a shop next door. The pool was clean & fun - but no lifeguard on duty.

Was close to the stores in walking distances! However property had stained bedding, spider webs in multiple corners, and mold on the ceiling above bed! Thee walls had some sort of dirt and splash on it so needed a desperate cleaning! Staff was so friendly and helpful! Overall a good place to stay at even to rest our heads. But will not be using this inn again:(
