The staff were great on all points. From booking to check out they were always in communication and available if we had questions. The location was great, pool was kept clean along with the rest of the property and it felt safe. Parking was easy to find which was great, especially arriving late at night. My reason for leaving only 4 stars is as follows: If staying in a studio, recommend selecting King bed size because the queen rooms appear to have a damp smell to them which was a downfall. It seems those rooms don’t get as much ventilation. Even our clothes smelled like the room when we returned home. The beds also weren’t very comfortable but it could be me being picky and/or just getting older and preferring different accommodations. Sheets were a little rough and mattress didn’t have much support.

Interesting place. Seems to be in revival though. I hope it does well, However, the parking is on street only (not fond of that at all), the restaurant was closed (and seems permanently so), a lot of street noises filters in, and the pool area closes at the rather nebulous time of “dusk.” Some loud repairs going on in the room next door one day. But the pool area, even with the odd hours, was lovely, as was the covered patio on the other side. Staff was terrific.
