A case of trying to do too much at one time and su

The truth is it’s a wonderful place to refinish and redo, but why are you doing all this major construction you probably should not be open for business certainly people who come and stay with you during this time. Will never come back again. Also, why are you renting rooms on hotels.com with a jetted tub and then you get there and find out that you don’t have any of those anymore because of the renovations. I did say one of the partially renovated rooms I guess and the TV didn’t work none of the outlets worked down the halls were all kinds of pain and different. It really was just the most awful experience and I never really bad reviews, but do yourself a favor and save yourself from ruining your business by shutting down and then reopening when it’s done Take it from me. I’ve been a creator of multi businesses that have been very successful and this is just not the way you do it.

Need a refund/ reimbursement

In the middle of major renovations. Paint fumes and lights shorted out when I tried to plug in my phone charger. Dogs were barking most of the night as well...Due to 3rd party rental, I had no options to be refunded any $ for my inconveniences.

The hotel was under major construction with people loitering all around. My friend did not feel safe so we did not stay. Because she went to check out the room before deciding whether to stay or not, it was considered a check in and nonrefundable. Hotel clerk first claimed that they called to tell me they were under renovations. Then he said he did not have my phone number because i booked through third party. Then he said that he explained to my friend that he could cancel with refund if she is not satisfied unless she goes to the room. My friend claims that nothing like that was ever discussed. We had to find a different room in a different hotel at the last minute.

Awful place to stay!

This place is beyond awful and so run down. So many things wrong from horrible smell to not having working remote or tv. The air conditioning was terribly inadequate No coffee pot in room or coffee service in lobby. Lobby filled with boxes and clutter. Just beyond appalling. I would never recommend for anyone to stay here and if there was a way to get a refund I would be doing that. Super 8 should be embarrassed that you are connected to this facility. Sleeping in my car would have been better but at least the water was hot. Nothing advertised on website was even remotely accurate. Super 8 should dump this hotel so you could have a decent reputation

Hotel cancelled reservation at last minute

Hotel cancelled my reservation with less than 24 hours notice, due to a “water leak”. Reading other reviews over the past several months I saw multiple complaints of wet carpets, mold, and dank mildewy odors so this has obviously been a problem for quite a while now and the hotel hasn’t done anything to fix it. Due to the hotel cancelling at the last minute, I was unable to find alternative accommodation because there was a concert that night and all other hotels in the area were sold out. Avoid this dump at all costs.

The room smelled aweful. The tub had soap scum stains all over. The hotel is in need of renovation. The best part was the A/C, it was really cold. You can hear the conversations from the side rooms.

Run down hotel

The hotel is very run-down. It has no elevator, so you need to carry your belongings up stairs and the hallways smelled old and smokey. Once in your room, it smells old, musty and like old smoke. The carpet was old and stained. We were given 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel; no bath towels. The bedspread, pillows and sheets need to be upgraded. Overall, this hotel needs to be upgraded and cleaned. We couldn’t wait to check out to get out of there and shower at home.

OK for an overnight

OK for an overnight on a road trip, but not great value for money. The bed was too firm, the room needed repairs, and the building was loud. Also, the check in clerk was not welcoming.

You Get What you Pay For

The first room I was given smelled moldy. I removed my sneakers and the carpet made my socks wet, most likely a leaky air conditioner. Desk clerk accomodated a room change but was somewhat surly. Carpets throughout were worn. Parking lot was full of potholes. "Breakfast" was coffee and a packaged bun. Sad motel. Best advantage was closeness to CMAC and price. I will look farther away next time.

A little effort please

There’s no real care given to make our stay memorable..our first room the refrigerator did not work…. In the new room the tv remote only half worked.. you had to turn it on or off and do the volume with the buttons on the tv. The coffee area in the room had no cups.. the lamp did not work. The breakfast consisted of prepackaged honey buns…. No other options. A simple sweep of the room by the staff to make sure everything was in order would make a big difference as well as putting out a little more effort for the breakfast area. Some fruit, a toaster with some options would go a long way.

The worst

Our room was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in. It reeked of smoke and the sheets had menstruation stains on them but we didn’t get to bed until so late that I wasn’t going to request a room change but should have. The floors were dirty.. and there was a piece of old fruit under the table
