We had a wonderful stay at hotel around TAKAYAMA — the location is super central and convenient to public transport for both the JR West line to get into Takayama from Tokyo and also the Nohi bus for a day trip to Kamikochi. Something super memorable about this stay was the amazing slippers available in the room which had ball-shaped padding in the arch area for foot reflexology — perfect after a long day of walking.
