The rooms were lovely and staff really friendly, especially Stuart, who checked us in. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and would love to return in the summer and enjoy the view from the balcony. Breakfast seemed a good selection. Could have been a better fruit selection and sausages were cheap. Only scrambled eggs offered. Bread was fresh. Nice pastry selection. The general look and vibe of a Moxy is nice, especially staying with our teenager. Room is exactly what you’d want in a hotel room. We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very uncomfortable! Friendly attentive staff. Bar is vibrant and sociable. Location is not too far away from the landmarks of Edinburgh. In fact, we quite enjoyed the walk from the centre to the hotel, as you walked past the side of the castle, where you could see the rock face - quite a sight! All in all, we were happy with our hotel. Thank you Moxy.

This was our first time in Scotland. Room was clean, heat and hot water worked well in room. Breakfast was a great deal and lots of options. Staff worked hard to keep it clean and full for breakfast. We ate once do dinner in hotel bar food was good. No complaints bout our stay at all. The rooftop bar is pretty and good cocktails.
