"This is exactly as specified, a budget hotel. We were two women travelers. Just friends. This was one of the cheapest hotels in Edinburgh that we could find, but they didn't have any twin bedrooms available, so we had to book a room with one double bed. That wasn't so bad, because they were kind enough to give us an extra blanket during our stay. The problem is that the shower is not in a room of its own. It is right next to the bed. Not something I took into account when booking the room, so not their fault, but something to be aware of. However, the room was never actually cleaned while we were there. They gave us new towels, took away the dirty ones, and remade the bed, but nothing was wiped down and the sheets were never changed. That made the shower start to stink after a couple of days. So while the workers were nice and the breakfast wasn't too bad and it was pretty quiet, I didn't like the lack of cleanliness."
