We had to add on a night stay while at a conference and booked at the last minute, had an excellent experience, very friendly and accommodating staff, location is great, near Frenchman Street and the Quarter but not in the midst of the noise. Beautiful old style decor, but kept up very well.

Our stay at Melrose Mansion was very comfortable with a good free breakfast. However, there was street noise from the Bar next store on Saturday night late and construction noise at 7:30AM Monday morning. Also, no elevator just stairs was offset by prompt service help with luggage.

It was a pleasure to stay at Melrose. We had late check in (12 am) and the security was very accommodating. Everyone at this property was so welcoming and offered to bring whatever we needed to our suite. Bonus: everything is within walking distance (10-15 min walk).
