The room was very clean and the place is well located. Staff was somewhat nice. I’ll expound. The staff was polite to me no issues but I purchased a room for guests and they were from Colombia (native). The guests told me they felt the staff didn’t treat them the same as they would be or other guests that were obviously not from there. That kind of feeling came after watching other guests receive patient treatment and small accommodations, they did not get the same patience or cooperation. I hope the staff addresses that because regardless where people are from, a paying customer is still a paying customer and frankly, guests of a paying customer should be treated the same, if not better, than the paying customer.

I am so glad I stayed at this hotel! It was perfectly located, there was someone at the front desk 24/7, and the room and bed were very comfortable. The shower had strong hot water and the free breakfast each morning was delightful. Very friendly staff, too!

Hotel Santa Cecilia was perfect for my time in Cartagena. It's a very easy walk to the walled city and just a block or two from the charms of Getsemani. I was glad to have this quiet hotel to come "home" to. The staff was excellent and my room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great! I would definitely stay here again
