It is a great place but the price was jacked up because of the football game.

Egan House was a fine stay in Dublin. It's affordable, clean and the service was good. Our room was really tight and the bed/pillows were not very comfortable, but it did the job.
Anne, 1-night trip

Great staff! Lovely room with a lot of natural light. We only stayed one night on our way to the airport, but I can see how great it would be to stay longer.

We really liked the quaint, homey atmosphere of Egan’s Guest House. The garden was so peaceful! We appreciated the ability to borrow a large fan from the front desk for our comfort at night. It was nice to be able to walk right down the street for dinner at The Botanic. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect for us.
Alecia, 1-night trip

The guest house was perfect for us. It was considerably away from the tourist hot spots, but close to the botanical gardens. We like to walk, so the location was very good. The breakfast was very good, and the service at the hotel was consistently excellent.

David, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good place for families.
Manuel, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Positives: The room is clean, the lobby is really nice for lounging, or reading. If you need to be in the area, it’s a nice neighborhood. Negatives: The room single room resembles a small pension, rather than a room. It’s difficult to see how small it is by photos. If you’re up the stairs, it’s really awkward getting suitcases through the maze of steps, hallways, and doors. If you have a difficult time with lifting luggage, and steps, this isn’t for you, unless you know what room you’re in beforehand. Lastly, I prefer to stay at hotels with a free breakfast, although I know that not all have it included in the price. They even charge 3 Euros for coffee.
Robert, 1-night trip

Good people at desk. Everything else mediocre.
Suzanne, 2-night trip
