The only thing I didn’t like is that my room had no door for the bathroom. If that is important to you, like most people, you should confirm that your room has a door for the bathroom.

Pristine AC, gorgeous setting

It was so nice to have a really strong AC unit in Cartagena. My room was dark and cool and comfy. The reception was exceptional and let me check in at noon, even though check in wasn’t for a few hours. They helped me book a cab for the airport. Would highly recommend staying here!

Second time there and it’s still a 5 star boutique hotel. They added so many great upgrades since my last visit. An actual speak easy bar hidden within the walls of the front lobby only for hotel guests is a unique touch. The only downside is for my makeup ladies the lighting isn’t good in the bathroom for makeup.

Really nice hotel, its quiet,nice rooftop pool and very well located. The food is really good. The main strengh of the hotel is the personnel. Everyone was really nice but I have to mention that Edurdo, the concierge and Jairo, the manager, were very helpful. Edurdo always did follow ups to make sure everything was to our liking. we felt very safe. Jairo, at the front desk, was always available to answer our questions and to find a solution to our inquiries. I have no hesitation to recommend the hotel. My only concern is some rooms don't have a window looking outside so it could be very dark.

Cold shower only for days, the property does not mention there are a ton of staircases to get to your room, not a good surprise when you have injuries. Unknown bug in my bed. The worst is the lack of any concern when informing the property of any challenges. For $500-$700 a night, the service should be welcoming and reassuring not dismissive. Do not recommend.

The resort is beautiful. The beach and water are beautiful too. Great service, beautiful view from my room. Highly recommended. Cons? It’s Cartagena, it means happiness, music, warmth people, smiles. I know it’s a French hotel, but hello, the hotel is in Colombia. Tourists want to feel their culture. Employees are too serious and saying madame all the time sounds ridiculous. Not their fault, obviously it’s what they need to do. Music (of course only from the hotel) at the beach would give a nice Caribbean touch. Also, the cocktails (not cheap at all) had little alcohol) The rest, the hotel is amazing. I will come back.
