Far away!!

Every day we had to walk for 25 minutes to the tourist spot ... it takes around 7-10 Euro to take a taxi from train station to the hotel (without luggage). One night the wifi provided by the hotel was out of order, and more disasterious was the staff who was on-duty on that night could not speak any English!!! Omg ... Btw, it was a bit insecure to stay in the hotel .... one day we walked pass the hotel reception, the staff stopped us and said "here you are your passports." BUT THE PASSPORTS WERE NOT OURS!!! The staff made a mistake and intended to gave others' passport to us!!! BTW, the hotel required its customers to leave the room key in the hotel reception. When you came back to the hotel, you just simpily tell the staff your room number and then you can get the room key, without further verification ..... The hotel provided free bicycles, but all were very old and the brakes could not work properly which made our bike sightseeing dangerous. I would say probably you can easily find a better hotel, at least in terms of location, in Florence.

The most impressive stuff is hospitality. The room is nice and clean with quiet location. Generally over 3 stars. A bit far away from train station, about 20 mins walks. But the bus stop near by.

We are a group of 4 staying in this hotel for 3 nights. My sister and i stay in the superior room in the Annex building which is really large and nice. Other members stayed in a classic room in the main building and was relatively small though also acceptable in European standard. The furniture is a bit old and the shower room is not very modern. However, the services rendered is good and helpful. It is around 20 minutes by walk to the main sightseeing spots. But the hotel is very near to bus station and easy to go anywhere if you do not prefer to walk. Breakfast provided is adequate and the coffee is good.

很有本地特色的酒店

酒店不大 但是非常精致 整体的布局很是喜欢。早餐地方不大，但是内容很丰富 尤其在园子的座位吃早餐 很享受。前台的老先生很热情也很喜欢沟通。 酒店地段离火车站略远 需要乘坐公交车 3站地。可能价格原因 我们的房间只有一个天窗 房间四周没有窗户 房间内有些闷。还好天窗是可以开启的 白天最好多通风。

Belle expérience !

Contrairement aux avis lus, nous avons eus une belle chambre, propre, sans aucun signe de saleté ou autre. Le seul point négatif : quand le ménage a été fait, la porte n'a pas été fermée. Mais sinon, le personnel très sympathique, accueillant! La proximité de l'hôtel avec la gare (20 min à pied), et la Cathédrale de Florence (20-25 min à pied) est un grand plus et épargne les transports ! Nous n'avons pas pris l'option petit-déjeuner, car nous avons préféré tester les cafés sur Florence.

En general muy bien, cumple con lo que esperas. Creo que el baño podía estar un poco más limpio ya que encontré moho y caracoles. Pero de verdad de ahí en fuera estuvo bien, nos trataron bien y el cuarto estaba limpio.

Bait-and-switch.

Working to obtain a refund. Our room felt wet and was attached to an outdoor space that was not usable as it was wet and the furniture was not clean. It was so humid we were concerned about mold. The room had wallpaper falling down. The heater was broken, there was barely any light and there was only one power receptacle within the room. The room pics didn’t match the booking and the Receptionist stated that was Hotels.com issue. Felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Opted to go to another hotel. Still trying to get a refund for the room booking and the city tax they collected at check in weeks later.

Disgusting Hotel! At this property, we were given a room WITHOUT windows! (Misleading advertising). The toilet was inside the shower. Please read that again, the toilet was inside the shower!!! The room didn't have air conditioning, only heater. The wallpaper was coming off and it had yellow stains. The buttons of the elevator didn't work. So, good luck trying to get in the elevator. The entrance doors from the hotel, had a sign in Italian that read: "Authentic doors don't work, open with your hands." Just pathetic! It's illegal to rent a room without windows; so, I don't understand why this hotel it's here on Expedia. We refuse to spend any time in the room that they gave us. So, we spent about an hour searching for another accomodation in Florence in such a short notice. Hotel Panama refused to refund our money. So, we're now still fighting for it with our credit card company. Don't book in this hotel. It's dilapidated! Shame on Expedia for suggesting this hotel.

They canceled my hotel reservation when I was on a flight from America. They called me but did not leave a voice message after being awake 40 hours they did not even help me find another hotel. Staff was very rude and apologized, but gave me no reason for canceling my reservation after I booked a month ahead of time. I do not recommend this place for anybody they are not reliable avoid at all cost.
