Ideal for my 1 night stay close to Cairns airport only a £10 taxi ride which considering there’s no public transport it’s ideal. Hotel is a little older so facilities are a little dated but overall very cleans comfortable. Eat at the Thai restaurant at the hotel great food.

A pleasant hotel in the northern part of Cairns. Decor is a bit dated but we had a clean and spacious room. The noise from next doors shower would suggest the walls are thin. The on-site restaurant Finn Finn serves authentic Thai food and is recommended.

However no hot water in the shower in our room, no toaster in the room and the bedroom had no power point for my wife’s CPAP machine. The staff were very helpful with providing an extension cord. This is an older hotel. Close to the beach but in a low end neighborhood and a bit rough. Rooms are big and spacious but AC could only cool a small area. Bathroom floors are slippery if wet. Not really a budget hotel for the price but is a budget hotel.
