The Louisville Nightmare

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! We checked in but had to leave. We had to change rooms a few times due to used condoms on the floor, rooms never cleaned, smoke and marijuana smells, and just absolutely disgusting room conditions. We left due to safety issues. The was a prostitute in the parking lot and some people driving circles around the property; they literally went around at least 20 times and were just staring at us. There was a guy shooting heroin while sitting on the back stairs to the second building. I was traveling with a female high schooler and a guy made a comment "I'm going to take care of her tonight", so for safety reasons, we left. ***** was managing the front desk and wasn't pleased with what I reported to her and that we were leaving. The manager refused to refund us our money because of their cancelation policy. We held up our end of the deal but the hotel didn't. I will be contacting the BBB for assistance and Wyndham Hotels. Stay away from this location and save yourself the headache.

Not So Happy

I'd rather not stay there again. The maid knocked on the door two times and woke me up to ask me if I needed anything but what she did was opened the door after two knocks because I didn't answer it. I was not happy about that as instead of it being my sister in one bed and me in the other it could have been me and my husband and we could have been having morning sex and she opened the door.. I did not think that was cool at all furthermore the hotel needs several upgrades and Wyndham has enough money to fix that property up properly. I have stayed at other Wyndham properties several times and even a days in property owned by Wyndham and it looked nothing like the one I stayed in in Louisville, Kentucky.

Disgusting!!!!

We couldn’t even stay there! I left right after I got to the room! I almost ran over an obvious heroin addict as I pulled around to the back building. The door barely shut and you could see under the weather stripping! Evidence of bed bugs! They clearly had a moth infestation. A smushed moth with one wing on the bathroom wall. I only wish I got a picture of the empty cocoons in between the shampoo and conditioner bottles but I freaked out and ran. Magenta nail polish all over the wall and splattered in the sink. And they make you sign a $75 hold to promise you won’t smoke, yet the room smells like stale smoke! It’s not fit for any human including cheating spouses or drug addicts….which I am pretty sure is their bread and butter! The man in front of me checking out said the 2nd room they gave him was worse than the first! I left there minutes after I got there and I am STILL fighting the charge a week later!!!!

Great price poor checkout

The foreigner at check out spoke such poor English that I could not understand anything he said. The shower water adjuster had only one temperature The room heater regulated the temperature poorly. When on it got too hot and it waited too long to cycle back on when it got cold. I understand it’s an old property and the price reflected that which was excellent but I didn’t expect to not be able to communicate with the checkout person.

DO NOT STAY HERE. NASTY.

As a small business owner, I do not leave negative reviews very often. I understand the difficulties that one encounters when running a business and I therefore tend to be VERY flexible. However, the neglect of this property bordering on unsafe and the obvious lack of respect the ownership and management team show for their customers leave me no alternative. First, and perhaps most importantly, the room was filthy. I'm providing pictures (forgive me) of my bare foot after walking across the floor from the shower. I've attached a photo of the washcloth used to clean my feet immediately after getting out of the shower. There was mold and mildew on the drop ceilings. There were questionable stains on virtually every bit of furniture in the room. I was truly disgusted. There were cracks in the wall of the bathroom, and obvious substandard repairs had been attempted. While repainting the walls, they could not be bothered to move the lid to the toilet and just painted on it too. (See photos.) Speaking of the toilet, they have retrofitted cheap water-saving flush mechanisms that do not work properly and therefore the toilet never actually flushes. The toilet seat was broken. Also, there was an apparent death outside our room with a makeshift memorial setup. Wyndham, you should be ashamed. This hotel is truly a disaster—unclean, unsafe, and virtually without redeeming qualities. The front desk lady was fine.
