I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had at Hyatt House Parsippany East. I booked and fully paid for my stay through Expedia, but when I arrived, the front desk staff refused to let me check in unless I canceled my non-refundable Expedia booking and rebooked directly with them. It was clear they were trying to scam me out of more money.
Because of this, I was left waiting for hours and ended up late to a wedding. The staff showed zero professionalism or empathy — just excuses and attitude. On top of that, the property itself is in terrible condition: the electricity kept going on and off, the bathrooms barely had any water pressure, and the place looked poorly maintained overall.
I strongly advise against staying here. This hotel is dishonest, poorly managed, and completely untrustworthy. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else — this place gives the Hyatt brand a bad name.
