The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and all around excellent. The hotel is small and quaint in a great location. The beds and linen were comfy and clean. The rooms are dated however and in need of renovating: Paint chipping, stained counters etc. The pool area is nice but the water was a tad murky. That said, the people working there is what made our experience lovely.

So my take on boutique hotels is that it's cool if like the unfinished look. It's a small room with minimalist approach. We like the pool right outside our room and the hippy cafe right there. Very convenient location in the centre of the strip. Aside from the lack of toilet paper having to ask for it daily, and the right spaces, it's a meh.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. It’s a wonderful property & we will continue to book this property for the next times we visit Playa Del Carmen. It does sit on top of a nightclub so it can be loud, the wifi can be unstable, & there is no elevator but for the rooms, location, & price it’s definitely worth it.

Nice staff. The hotel really needs an upgrade.. Rust everywhere and chalk in the shower. The showerdrain was clogged, but they fixed it. Cleaning was not so good either, black long hairs in the corners on the floor and in the bed. Very noisy neighbourhood (our mistake for not checking this). But it is in the middle of 3 bars. The pool area is not recommended, the pictures in the add is totally mistaken. Dirty pool and filled with chalk around the whole pool. The poolshower is also disgusting. Nice hotel front area and reception, but that was it.

The hotel was centrally located it had a spa , cafe , restaurants all around. Across the street was a shopping mall, at night the area was filled with people having dinner at restaurants and bars with live music. The best part was the friendly staff, Sofia and Alan were absolutely amazing !! Sofia and Alan warmed our hearts and made our stay at the hotel very memorable!!!
