The hotel looks the most upscale one in Izumo station area. Room was large and clean with big beds. However, it may not be suitable for any business stay since my room did not have any desk for PC works. I was personally a bit disappointed with its cafe area on the ground floor; it looks great, but did not operate except for pre-set breakfast.

Probably the best hotel around Izumo Station

Still new and clean. The room was larger than other regular Japanese "business" hotel: enough space to open your large luggage. The stay was comfortable. All staff were friendly and professional. If they can serve lunch and/or dinner as well, it must have been greater. Also, .. if they can consider further improvement, it must be its hair dryer; the current one is just useless !!

Despite the hotel being street across from Izumo’s nightlife hotspot(not as big as you’d imagine, only like a block or two,) it was quiet at night for a good rest. Only issue we had was the hair dryer in the room. Our’s didn’t work, even with the instruction. But as long as you take the hot spring on 1st floor, you can use Dyson hairdryer there so no problem.

My wife and I visited friends in Izumoshi and we booked this hotel’s suite room. I believe there is only one of these rooms in the hotel. It has two king size beds, a separate living room area with chairs and a sofa, and a bathroom that has two sinks and an enormous shower and bathtub. Looking at the floor plan, it looks like this room takes the same floor space as three of the hotel’s regular rooms — so while we were very pleased with our room, the regular rooms are probably on the smaller side. We also had dinner at a restaurant about two blocks away called Wasabi. No English, but the food was really good — sashimi, local beef with local peppercorns, house salad with fried Izumo soba noodles, roasted Nodoguro (a local fish), etc.

Very comfortable..please respect Onsen culture

It was very comfortable and relax stay. Also it is close to the station so it was very helpful. Only thing was that there were other guests who are not respecting other guests ( they seem other Asians and badly behaving in the public bath - drinking in the public bath and also opening a bottle and put the lid back and placed back to the fridge. They were very loud too…. Not acceptable behaviours. Hope there should be more instruction to be given for those who are not used to the Japanese culture, and disrespecting the other guests by being loud behaviours.

Great for leisure

After 3 years of its debut in Izumo, the hotel looks still new and upscale. It must be perfect for any type of "leisure"/"vacation" stay around the main station of Izumo. However, it is not really best for any business use. There are mainly four reasons. 1) no desk for work: room had a big sofa, but not a pair of chair and desk, which I wanted to have for my business, 2) Dark room: probably good for sleep, but not really godd for business desk works, 3) There are not many restaurants just to eat while there are many bars and bubs for drink; not really good for sober stay, 4) No express check-out: even with pre-payment, the hotel wants to double-check your check out in person. Ridiculous, ... but that is thier policy now. I had to wait for 10 min. just to have the front-desk person around 6:00 a.m. to catch the first flight. Actually, he did nothing other than saying "thank you".
