Great stopover at a great price.

Really nice stop over. Family of 3 with a 7 year old. Clean enough. Staff lovely and friendly. Breakfast was a great little continental with good choices. Rooms could do with an update and fresh lick of paint but was clean, tidy and comfy enough. Cannot complain for the price.

Calais Stopover

Great place for a stop over, I wouldnt recommended for more than that. The reception staff were really good and welcoming, they were really helpful. The room was clean but was in need of redecoration. Ideal for a stop over when leaving/getting ferry.

8/10 Very good

Easy to find the hotel, although on a main road it was quiet. Only stayed for one night after a long drive before getting the ferry the next day, but the bed was comfortable, the shower worked well and that was all that we needed. Place is beginning to look a little tired but will probably use it again.

Old Style Motel.

Old style motel which did the job. My room opened up to the car park. This was good as I could keep an eye on my motorcycle. Room was dated & could do with a refurb but did the job.

The room was clean and comfortable, plus the reception and restaurant personnel were friendly and helpful.

This was a good property for what we needed which was an overnight stay before catching an early boat in Calais. We didnt arrive until 1am but the owner was there to make sure we could check in quickly. We didnt have breakfast but it looked really nice.

8/10 Very good

Showing a lack of maintenance to the common areas and, despite having a restaurant, that was closed. Bedroom comfortable though and plenty of parking so still useful for an odd night in Calais.

Good nights sleep

One night stopover before ferry next day. Plenty hot water for bath at any time. Comfy bed...nice towels/bedding Pillows could be better, but had a great sleep anyway. Staff very pleasant as always.

Basic

Very basic but comfortable bed. Showers awful, terrible water pressure and either scalding hot or freezing cold.
Stu, 1-night trip

Ok stay

It was basic and fairly comfy and not too bad for the price, rooms need a refresh but it was generally clean. Lady on reception was nice and friendly. Ok for a quick stop over.

4/10 Fair

OK for one night. Was charged €1.50 tourist tax when invoice said £0.98. Car park is small and noisy in the morning.
Simon, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Friendly staff, accessible location NOT in the town centre so be prepared either to walk but bear in mind that all buses in Calais appear to be free ! Which we only worked out after a few days walking everywhere lols … It’s not the ritz but on par with French hotels at the same price point. There was a small bar and snacks to buy, but although it said it was a restaurant it didn’t have the vibe or look of it, and we didn’t see anyone eating dinner there, better to head to town. Calais is very cheap for eats and drinks, the beach is amazing, everywhere is clean, the parks and ambience are lovely, it’s overlooked and place to come but it recommended.
Simon, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Two over-night stays in Calais.

Efficient check-in, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast. All in all two excellent nights. Only adverse comment would be that the hotel exterior needs re-painting! The external structure looks shabby.
