Upon entering the room the stale aroma of cigarette permeated everything despite the bed linen appearing clean. There were no bulbs in the bedside reading lamp which had a broken shade to boot. The bathroom door knob was falling off and a simple fix with the screwdriver kit we had with us took care of it. The door to bathroom was soiled with who knows what grung. I used a hand towel that I soaped up to clean surfaces, chairs counters etc just to feel comfortable enough to put our things down. It needs a complete redo
